Reviews
This was chosen more for value than luxury. Was visiting the Xmas markets and just needed a base to shower and sleep. Room was clean and more than adequate. Self check in and out was very simple to use. A short drive to old town but well worth the savings vs old town hotel and parking prices.
Everything you need for a great value! The windows can open all the way to get some fresh air in, but when closed don't let any sound through! Even the curtains overlap so you won't wake from the sun peeking through. Everything is in place to ensure a great rest.
I came here with my mother and my sister and it was really nice!
We only needed to be at the desk to get the note with our room number and code (instead of a card for the door, which I love!) and other than that we were free to stay and go as we pleased. We didn't have to register the car for the car park (which is free!) and we didn't need to check out after our stay was over either.
They also clearly actually respect the sign to not enter the room when it's hung on the door (you'd be surprised how many hotels ignore it and come in anyway). The room is also well-insulated against noise from outside. So even though it's next to a main road, you don't hear the traffic.
The room had clearly been cleaned to the best of their ability (I don't expect every strand of hair to come out of the carpet, that's ridiculous). The carpet, toilet, sink, shower, sheets and pillows, and even the windowsill (which sometimes gets forgotten in hotels) were all clean. The room was tidy as well.
Honestly, I am very happy with my experience and I would 100% recommend this hotel to other people. It's in a really good location too. The stop for the tram is right outside of it, so it's easy to find the hotel if you're taking public transport. If you're travelling by car, it is also easy to find, because it's along the main road. It also has quick access to the highway. So it's easy to get to the hotel and it's easy to go back into town as well. There are also supermarkets nearby that you could go to (Aldi, Netto) and there is a McDonald's right across the street too.
The staff is very friendly and so are the maintenance workers.
This was a long review, but I just wanted to highlight the things I personally enjoyed about my stay in the hopes that it helps someone else to decide where to stay, if they come to Dusseldorf.
Its hard to find a hotel room for a family of four in Germany and the B&B Hotels always is the best choice for us. The family room was absolutely perfect size and layout (double bed and a bunk bed) for our family and was a great value as well. Despite the cold winter night outside, our room was nice and warm inside. The front desk staff was very friendly when I checked in and we had a nice chat. I also appreciate the later check out time of 12 noon, and the free parking. Highly recommend and I will return again!
On the border to Duesseldorf. No frills approach, unbeatable price.
But the mass of emails that you get after your stay (despite explicitly declining permission for the messaging) is just annoying.
Marked up the price on exhibition days, but with extreme low quality. Bed felt dirty, no amenities, no iron, I will not return
The hotel is well kept with helpful staff. I only stayed two nights but would have no issues with staying longer. The breakfasts could have had more choice but the food was all good and exactly as described, perfect for a few days. The room was clean with a good size bathroom and shower.
I looked forward to returning for a comfortable nights sleep after a hard day at the Trade fair.
Im really happy with the location, with the tram U75 u have a good connection to the city Düsseldorf and the breakfast is small but divers I’m lactose intolerant so for me it’s really important to have different choices. The room is clean …
